Keller A routine domestic disturbance call involving a barely known Hollywood director and a B-movie actress disturbs officer Turcotte as despite his efforts, the starlet turns up missing. Blaming himself for not acting to save her life, Turcotte teams up with Detective Pierce to locate the girl. His intensely personal involvement worries Detective Pierece who tells him "The hardest part for me, for all good cops, is walking that fine line between being invested and being objective. Because once you cross over, it's pretty hard to find your way back". Meanwhile Detectives Stevens and Smith investigate the director with whom she spent her last night.
